Beginner Rifle Class

Provides beginning shooters with an introduction to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to own and use a rifle safely. This training is hands on firearm orientation for new handgun purchasers with limited experience.
I. Introduction to Rifle Safety, Parts and Operation
II. Introduction to Ammunition and the Fundamentals of Rifle Shooting
III. Introduction to Rifle Shooting from the Benchrest Position
IV. Introduction to Rifle Cleaning, Storage and Training Opportunities
Time: 12:00- 4:30
Cost: $75 - $25 deposit and pre-registration required; includes range fee
What to Bring: Eye and ear protection, rifle and 50 rounds of factory ammunition, notepad and pencil, snacks/water/pop
Note: Rental rifles available on request for $25.00. Ammunition for rental pistols will be available on day of class. Be sure to tell cashier in advance that you need to rent a rifle.
