Beginner Pistol Class
formerly known as NRA First Steps Pistol Class
Provides beginning shooters with an introduction to the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to own and use a specific model pistol safely. This training is a hands on firearm orientation for new handgun purchasers with limited experience. The First Steps Pistol orientation program satisfies the minimum experience pre-requisite necessary for participants in the CPL Class.
Time: 12:00- 4:30
Cost: $75 - $25 deposit and pre-registration required; includes range fee
What to Bring: Eye and ear protection, ball cap, pistol and 50 rounds of factory ammunition, notepad and pencil, snacks/water/pop
Note: Rental pistols available on request for $25.00. Ammunition for rental pistols will be available on day of class. Be sure to tell cashier in advance that you need to rent a pistol.
